DISCLAIMER: Becoming a supporter and adopting a soldier is completely voluntary. Although AAUSS encourages that honor and respect is shown from both the soldier and supporter; AAUSS is not responsible for inappropriate responses from either side. AAUSS does not select our participants, they register on their own. We do not “screen” applicants of both soldiers and supporters for privacy reasons, therefore we do not know what kind of correspondence you may receive (as a soldier or supporter). If there is a conflict, it should be reported immediately, so that a solution can be reached. If any of the parties involved is not satisfied, AAUSS has the right to dissolve the assignment."
