Please know that we are anxious to get support for you while you're deployed.  Some of our
soldiers have made lasting friendships with their supporters. We hope this for you also. 

Feel free to list individual or platoon needs such as: hygiene items, food, snacks, entertainment, books, clothing needs, living needs (blankets), sports items (a football), and even small toys for Iraqi children!  HOWEVER, please be considerate of your requests. Most of our supporters cannot afford high priced luxury items (such as, XBox, PSP, iPods, DVD players, laptops, etc) but some may try to accommodate your larger requests if they belong to a church, work group or large networking group.

Other ideas for comments: you may want to share (but it’s not required) your hobbies/interests, whether or not you have family, age (some supporters feel more comfortable writing to someone in their age group), whether you know anyone else needing support (please give us their information or have them sign up as well).  We give each soldier 4 supporters or more depending on your needs.

Lastly, although we cannot demand that you respond to your supporters,  we ask you to have the common courtesy to at least respond if you receive a letter or package…even a quick postcard saying thank you.  We are a service to help you and we cannot keep supporters when they do not know if you are receiving items they send.
